PROJECT OVERVIEW

A council fire order was initiated to this residential building within the heart of Double Bay, comprising of 12 units. Fire Safety Constructions (FSC) was appointed to carry out replacements of existing non-compliant SOU doors and replace with new fire door sets. Maxi style doors and Tasmanian Oak frames were used to maintain the heritage style of the building, while also retaining the existing wall panelling.

The works commenced with inspecting the existing door sets and taking measurements of each unit individually. The upcoming stages included removing/disposing the existing doorsets and replacing with new new fire rated door sets. Once all units were complete, all new items were painted to match the existing wall panelling. The final stage included completing a final inspection, commissioning/tagging all the doors and ensuring all hardware worked as needed.
